Tasman Pool Rescue Event

A reminder to all to lock-in the date for the Tasman Pool Rescue Event in Greymouth. This is set for Saturday the 15th August which is approaching fast! Make sure you have your accommodation locked in and have confirmed your attendance with Ben Clark (Sports Officer).

 Pool Rescue competitions are a great opportunity for members to build their swimming ability, sharpen rescue skills, and gain confidence in a competitive pool environment.

 These events challenge athletes across a range of rescue-based disciplines, including swimming under obstacles, carrying manikins or rubber bricks for junior competitors, tube rescues, fin swimming, and line throws. Each event is designed to reflect rescue scenarios that lifeguards may face, while also helping competitors develop speed, strength, technique, and teamwork.
