Good evening everyone. Tonight, it is my privilege to acknowledge someone whose dedication, leadership, and passion have made a lasting impact on Nelson Surf Life Saving Club—our current President, Noah Hoise. Noah is far more than a club member or committee leader. He is someone who leads by example, inspires through action, and genuinely cares about the people around him. Whether you're a new nipper taking your first steps on the beach, a volunteer giving your time, or a long-serving member of the club, Noah has an incredible ability to make everyone feel valued and capable of achieving more than they thought possible. One of Noah's greatest strengths is his ability to inspire every generation. He encourages our youngest members to dream big, supports our active lifeguards and volunteers to grow in confidence, and respects the knowledge and experience of those who have built this club before us. His leadership brings people together with a shared purpose—to make our club stronger, safer, and ready for whatever the future holds. Noah doesn't just think about today; he thinks about tomorrow. Through his vision, and by welcoming the ideas and perspectives of others, he is helping pave the way for future generations of club members. He understands that the success of Nelson Surf Life Saving Club comes from working together, embracing change, and creating opportunities for those who will one day follow in our footsteps. Noah, thank you for your commitment, your leadership, and the countless hours you give to this club. Your passion inspires us all to be better people, better teammates, and better leaders.
