Epic Tasman IRB Development Weekend!

An epic weekend was had by all at the Tasman IRB Development Weekend! A huge thank you to the amazing team from Rārangi Surf Life Saving Club for their incredible hospitality, and a massive shout-out to Brendon Ferguson (Rārangi SLSC) for running such a top-notch weekend, supported by the awesome efforts of Ariana McGee, Benson Geary, and Carl Tresfield. Big thanks also to Amy Phillips SLSNZ | Southern Region for her support in organising and bringing it all together.

The weekend had something for everyone, with a Crew Training Course and plenty of opportunities for drivers and trainee drivers to practice and hone their skills. Drivers challenged themselves with rock pick-ups and navigating tighter spaces, awesome learning all round!

Huge congratulations to Pipì and Elouise from Nelson SLSC for gaining their Crew Awards - well done!

All of this took place in the stunning, picturesque Whites Bay — what a location to train and grow our skills.
